Trip Plan
You pick the destination. We constrain the trip to a hard budget — verdict, itemized plan, cuts or upgrades.
Trip Plan
You already know where you want to go. The question is whether the number works. Pick from 70+ destinations (same 2026 catalog as Trip Finder), enter a hard budget, and we’ll build one constrained plan — Fits / Tight / Over, Lean / Solid / Stretch, season / hotel / airline / food recommendations, and what to cut first if you’re over. Disney World, Caribbean cruises, and major all-inclusives still use the dedicated calculator math.

You pick a date window. We rank destinations for those weeks. Use it when the place is still open.
You pick a budget. We rank trip types that fit. Use it when Disney vs cruise vs all-inclusive is still the question.

We constrain the plan
Same 2026 tables as the destination calculators. Florida lodging tax, cruise gratuities, and AI extras are not optional footnotes.
Fits, Tight, or Over
Itemized plan with per-line tips. Click Lean / Solid / Stretch to rebuild the whole plan. Season, hotel, airline, food, and activities cards follow the tier you pick.

Park tickets, resort, Lightning Lane, dining, and the Florida lodging tax most quotes skip.
Everything you will actually spend on this trip — lodging, food, tickets, getting there. Not the brochure fare.
Kids 3–12 are weighted lighter for food. Under 3s are usually free on tickets and cruise fare; they still count in the party size.
Sets the round-trip airfare baseline. Pick “driving” to swap flights for a ground-transport allowance.
Blank averages the Trip Finder 12-month hotel band. A month uses that month’s published rate (or Disney/cruise season band).
Pick a destination and a hard budget, then hit “Build the plan.” We’ll tell you Fits, Tight, or Over, itemize the trip, and recommend season, hotel, airline, food, and activities for the tier you select.

Trip Plan starts with a destination you already want and a hard budget, then builds one constrained plan. Trip Finder starts with a date window and ranks destinations. Budget Reverse Math starts with a budget and ranks trip types. Use this page when the place is decided and the number is the constraint.
70+ from the same 2026 Trip Finder catalog — Caribbean, Europe, Hawaii, domestic US, Asia, and more — plus Walt Disney World and a Caribbean cruise. Type in the filter, jump from the shortcuts, or scroll the region groups.
Fits means the recommended plan lands comfortably under your budget (about 8% of room or more). Tight means you are within about 8% either side — doable if you watch the optional lines. Over means the recommended plan needs cuts, or a bigger number, before it is honest.
Yes. Orange County lodging tax of 12.5% is applied to Disney resort rooms. Florida sales tax of 6.5% is applied to park tickets and Lightning Lane. Those two lines are the ones most room-plus-tickets quotes skip.
Yes, as their own line — not buried in the cabin fare. Automatic daily gratuities apply to guests age 2 and up, scaled to your nights, using the same 2026 per-line rates as the cruise calculator.
Cancún, Punta Cana, Jamaica, Aruba, Turks & Caicos, the Bahamas, St. Lucia, Cabo, Tulum, Costa Rica, and Belize use the dedicated all-inclusive rates: package + flights + customary tips + two excursions. Other cities use Trip Finder hotel + daily ground rates, occupancy tax, airfare, and a 6% planning buffer. See the all-inclusive calculator for the deeper split.
They sit under the itemized plan. Season uses the Trip Finder monthly hotel band (or Disney / cruise season tables) to name the cheapest open months, the months to skip, and the dollar gap versus peak. Hotel lists 2–3 example property or cabin classes for the style you picked — not a ranking and not live inventory. Airline is a pattern from your origin hub and region (booking window, which coast wins) — never a flight number. Food is the daily spend band plus curated picks for major destinations; everywhere else gets the same grocery-breakfast / one sit-down dinner guidance. Every itemized line also has its own one-line tip (what to book, skip, or save).
Every major line has a tip for the selected Lean / Solid / Stretch tier — what to book, skip, or save. Click a tier to rebuild the itemized plan, verdict, and recommendation cards. The gray note is the assumption. No live inventory and no flight numbers.
No. These are honest 2026 estimates built from the same published pricing tables as the other Vacation Math calculators. Real bookings can move. Use the destination calculators before you pay a deposit, and plan the funding if the number is tight.
